My husband and I took this food tour,not knowing what to expect because we had been on a food tour in Boston. The tour in Boston was little to be desired. The Carlsbad Food Tour changed our mind on food tours. This was a wonderful experience and would recomend it to everyone. Cheri was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable about Carlsbad. We learned much about the town, restaurants and shopping. The food, wine and candy were out of this world. My husband is a pickie eater and he enjoyed everything.

You won't be disappointed with this tour. It's full of fun facts about Carlsbad, interesting history and some off-the-beaten-path spots for food. Most of the tour centers around the Village which is a picturesque group of streets shaded by leafy trees and lined with eclectic shops and restaurants. Don't bother eating before the tour -- there is more food than any tour I've been on in NYC or LA!!

My fiance and I came out from Dallas to visit family and decided to take our son, wife and new grand daughter on the tour. We had a wonderful time! Brad was the trusty tour guide and was very knowledgeable on the local history as well as the food. We got to see a side of Carlsbad that is seldom seen. We highly recommend taking the tour early on in your visit so that you can have time to go back to some of the areas. Unfortunately we had it booked for our last day and couldn't really enjoy return visits to most of the establishments.
