Sunset Cultural Center
This is the meeting place for Carmel Food Tours. Look for the tall, Gothic-style arch and huge windows. It looks a little like a church, but it's not. When you descend into the courtyard, which is located EXACTLY at the intersection of 9th & San Carlos, you'll be greeted by your tour guide.

This was AWESOME! Our guide, Amber, was full of city knowledge, unique insights, personal anecdotes, and made to sure you were having a good time. She’s grown up here, so you got to walk through the lesser traveled back alleys and taste your way through Carmel via her favorite spots. You will leave FULL and wanting to come back for another tour!

Some friends and I did this tour while visiting Carmel in October. We had a great time, and it was such a fun way to explore the city, learning about the history of Carmel and exploring some businesses we would have otherwise missed! One thing that made our tour so great was our guide Amber! Amber was so fun, very knowledgeable on the history of this adorable town, and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves! One small downside - we did feel like the tour was heavy on the food and light on the wine, but regardless we had a great time and I would not hesitate to do this again on my next trip to Carmel!

My wife and I had a great time on a sunny Saturday afternoon on a Carmel Food Tour. Led by Amber, we went to 7 different Carmel locations (several restaurants, plus one olive oil tasting location AND, of course, Lula's Chocolates. 3 hours is the right amount of time, plus lots of food to taste and a bit of wine and mescal! Amber was a great guide giving us local stories about Carmel as well as intros to the various places. Try it if you have an afternoon to spend in Carmel
