Sunset Cultural Center
This is the meeting place for Carmel Food Tours. Look for the tall, Gothic-style arch and huge windows. It looks a little like a church, but it's not. When you descend into the courtyard, which is located EXACTLY at the intersection of 9th & San Carlos, you'll be greeted by your tour guide.

First Tripadvisor review, I`m excited!! This food tour is totally worth it, the ambiance, the venues, the stories of the owners are all so charming! Expect locally sourced ingredients, friendly and knowledgeable staff and good tour companion! I absolutely enjoyed our tour guide, with her upbeat and smiley attitude Migdalia was the perfect person to guide you through the restaurants and to tell you stories about the town of Carmel, its culture and most important - its FOOD! Totally recommend! -DD

This food and wine tour is a must if you are in Carmel. Migdalia was an amazing tour guide. The 3 hours flew by. All of the places on the tour were great! The food and wine was wonderful!

Thoroughly enjoyed this walk-about Carmel and the insights to some of the restaurants and shops. I wouldn't label it a "wine" tour though we were served a delicious Rose at Grasings (and I'm a big red lover). However, I do not hesitate to recommend this tour. The food and imparting knowledge were plentiful. Our group consisted of locals, out of state and out of country visitors. Learning about Bonnie's (the tour guide) local favorites and stories was delightful. Can't wait to go back to Carmel to explore these recommendations!
