This is the meeting place for Carmel Food Tours. Look for the tall, Gothic-style arch and huge windows. It looks a little like a church, but it's not. When you descend into the courtyard, which is located EXACTLY at the intersection of 9th & San Carlos, you'll be greeted by your tour guide.

For a first visit to Carmel by the Sea, this was a great introduction to the lay of the land, a little history and the vibe of the community. Amber shared her personal connection to this great town and we were able to sample some of shops and restaurants that we may have never seen in the two days we were visiting. I loved how everything was so close and connected not only by the straight-forward grid of the town but through beautiful and almost "secret" passageways. There was plenty of delicious, and beautiful food, and some portions were more than just a taste!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Carmel Food Tours. Amber, our guide, was kind, engaging and knowledgeable about everything Carmel has to offer. We sampled food, wine, olive oil, vinegar, honey and sweets on our tour - all at a leisurely pace that afforded us the opportunity to really enjoy every stop. Amber knew exactly where to go to get us the most out of our experience, and you can tell she (and this company) have a great relationship with the businesses in town. We were welcomed in at every stop and never once felt like tourists. Will recommend this tour to everyone I can! Amber was amazing.

Bonnie was spectacular and we just LOVED each stop on the tour! We visited all types of establishments ... fine dining ...local spots....honey....bakery...and ended with chocolates! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR! Ask for Bonnie...she is a Treasure.
