Overview
Discover the charming coastal town of Carmel and savor a series of tantalizing food tastings (which may include wine or a cocktail) on this 3-hour guided walking tour. Your passionate guide will share stories about the history, culture and architecture of Carmel as you stop at restaurants, stylish watering holes and food shops to meet business owners (when available) and sample different food items. Sunset Cultural Center
This is the meeting place for Carmel Food Tours. Look for the tall, Gothic-style arch and huge windows. It looks a little like a church, but it's not. When you descend into the courtyard, which is located EXACTLY at the intersection of 9th & San Carlos, you'll be greeted by your tour guide.

We had the best time on the food tour with Tracy as our guide! We were celebrating a birthday in CA from CT and decided to go on the food tour. BEST DECISION! Carmel is a charming town with so many unique details to it. Tracy not only showed us some great restaurants but explained the history of the town. Its a US hidden gem! Thanks for the memories and super fun way to spend the afternoon, Tracy!

Our group of friends have been coming to Carmel annually for the last 35 years. We have enjoyed and supported and encouraged each other all that time. Each visit involves lots of talking, walking, shopping and eating. But THIS time we did something entirely NEW.... the Carmel Food Tour. What a wonderful day.... each stop was a new adventure, and we continuously found out new thing about Carmel as we strolled from experience to experience. Ours was a small group (6) and we felt that number was perfect. Our guide, Tracy, was positive, informative, and just plain fun. We totally recommend this as new way to visit old haunts (but I would imagine that someone new to Carmel would love the "overview" before settling down to selecting places to eat in the future.)
