We had made contact with our driver at 3:45pm for the event that evening at 7:45pm. I messaged him at 7:30 and said we would be there via Lyft at 7:48pm. At 7:45pm he called and asked “where exactly are you” to which I replied about to get out of the car at the park. Getting to the carriages at 7:47pm he wasn’t there. At 8:02pm I got a message from him saying “the company told me to do a short ride. I will be back soon”. So knowing I had a scheduled ride at 7:45pm for 45 minutes he took that time to go do a short ride in the park and make some extra money. Which 1) I understand making a living but 2) Why not be honest to me? Send me a text? I waited with my partner till 8:12 pm this now 27minutes after my carriage tour start time.
Once he got there he greeted us and asked us to the cart. Then he got on his cell phone, didn’t help us up into the cart, didn’t say “hello how are you”...simply stayed on the phone for the first four minutes.
This was VERY frustrating.
The park it self was Amazing and once moving along in the ride he did give some tour facts but it wasn’t like the other tour guides I heard while along the carriage ride.

Sorry to hear you didnt get a great experience .
Unfortunately if you are not on time exactly and if there are other customers are waiting for a carriage ride, instead of making them wait you would be the one back in the line to wait.
This is how it works so we can keep the prices down and other customers happy as well. Please keep in mind you are not the only customer to make happy.
