Our first time in this trip and I forgot to call the number before boarding so we ended up on the standby in the cold. Luckily we got on but almost missed the scheduled purchased tickets.

The best way to go. Very inexpensive and fun to boot. Get there early to make sure you get on board in a timely fashion.

If it hadn’t been for the older woman with the red hair that was helping us with our tickets at the Catalina express counter, (after I had purchased 8 of them), it would’ve been perfect. The entire way to Catalina all I could think about is why a person would be so rude just because you needed a little assistance? I understand people can have rough days but her attitude was completely uncalled for, and the fact that she said “she didn’t need anyone’s s**t today” was ridiculous.
