My family and I had a great time on this tour. The guide (A history professor!) was very outgoing and so detailed and passionate with his delivery that the tour just flew by. We saw Franklin's Grave, the oldest, currently active street in the US (1720!), learned about a few serial killers with ties to the Philly area, and more (honestly I don't want to give out the surprises involved). There are $1 water bottles available at Franklin's Gravesite so that was awesome considering it was August when we were on the tour. One more thing, at the end, the tour guide takes you to a bar and everybody gets a beer (or soda). I highly recommend this tour to anybody who isn't of a prudish mindset.

You sure do get your moneys worth on this tour. Terri was a terrific tour guide and was very passionate with his storytelling. We could tell he knew his history along with knowledge of serial killers. Despite it being a lengthy tour, it didn’t seem that long because he kept us captivated. The best part (besides all the cool stuff we learned) was that there were lots of opportunities to sit and be in the shade on a hot July day. This was our second tour with grim philly and we will definitely be back again for another one. Thank you for everything!

Fun tour, but probably 1 hour too long. We enjoyed our guide Terry but the best part of the tour was the time spent in Christ Church cemetery with their guide. Our guide’s narration was hard to follow at times — you could tell he was so knowledgeable and passionate, but his storytelling needed some work (more linear stories, less jumping around). Overall, fun tour & worth it, just be prepared for lots of standing & outdoor time.

We're not so much scripted since all of our guides have history degrees or are college professors and so want to give you the best experts in the subjects that the tours are about. Bob who we have at the Burial Ground is phenomenal and I know Terry has a comprehensive understanding of the killers and the city History Of Philadelphia. Perhaps your review may get him to streamline his commentary a tad and deliver a bit more concise.
