The tour guide Bryan was really good, there were about 8 cars in our riding group. the car in front of me had children in the back so the drivers were taking their time, as I was following my car was not following the direction that I turned the wheel in, we ended up being stuck on an incline. When we called the number on the wristband no one answered, but there was an ATV tour coming up behind us and the tour guide stopped to help. Bryan came about 2 minutes later, we got into the vehicle with him and rode back to the starting point. After closing out with the group he led us to the stand where we retrieved our ID, he then asked what happened, we explained that we were turning and trying to get up the incline but the car wasn’t responding, we were stuck. He stated that he was supposed to charge for part but he would charge me for the “recovery.” $75 was the fee, I’m extremely disappointed with being charged this additional fee knowing that I didn’t play apart in the car malfunctioning, the others in the group verified that there was no speeding or erratic driving that was done. I am not sure of any damage or wear and tear that was done to the vehicle but apparently I am the unlucky party that is being charged the additional fee.
Again, the ride was nice, Bryan was a great guide, but being the unlucky driver while something breaks in a vehicle has tainted my experience. It’s an off-road trail filled with large bumps and rocks, something can happen at anytime, I guess we, the drivers, should just cross our fingers that we’re not unlucky.
