I brought my mom and daughter to NY for the first time. They were really excited to go on the carriage ride and learn about Central Park. Our driver arrived 17 minutes late. We rode through Central Park for about 20 minutes (the experience stated 45-50 minutes), before exiting out onto the street. When I mentioned to the driver that we did not want to walk on the street, but in Central Park as the experience was listed, he told me something about roads being blocked off. Which was weird because there were horses and carriages all over the park. I brought up again that we wanted to be back in the park, while we were sitting in traffic next to construction. He said “the roads are closed, what do you want me to do”. For 30 minutes we sat in traffic, and weaved around so the driver could get back to his original pickup place by going around the park-instead of through. After I reached out to the company (I still have not received a response) the driver began calling my phone-4 time in total. I did not share my phone number with the driver which tells me he took it upon himself to use my number from the booking with the company and reach out to me on his own. I answered once and when he introduced himself and started to talk I hung up. I had no interest in discussing anything with the man who drove the carriage. We were only in town for 48 hours and this was a massive let down and waste of time.

This was a fun way to see a little bit of the park. The driver talked to us about everything we passed, took pictures, and let my daughter feed carrots to the horse.
