Adult bike purchase via homepage defaults to female without giving an option to select gender or even display the gender until after purchase. Reported this issue way back in October when we used their 9 W 60th location but still hasn't been fixed. They say despite this you can just select a male bike on arrival but still, theoretically if it was a busy day I could be stuck riding a female bike. Discrepancies like this really shouldn't exist especially months after the issue has been reported. It suggests poor development and poor to nonexistent acknowledgment of customers' feedback. Downrating until fixed.

We rented 4 bikes for our family with two teenagers. Service was quick and the bikes were good. Their height could be adjusted easily. We took the bikes for four hours and thoroughly enjoyed touring Central Park. The bike return was quick as well. The price though was too high: US$175 for 4 bikes for 4 hours is too expensive!

Easy online rental and the bikes were good, however we were late back and were punished with a hefty and unreasonable fine. There was no warning that this could be the case.
