What To Expect

Central Park

Meet your guide just a couple of blocks south of Central Park on West 56th Street for your morning or afternoon bike tour. Select a hybrid bike, appropriate for your skill and experience level, as well as a helmet and map of the park.

Belvedere Castle

Then, peddle along at a leisurely pace on both paved roads and unpaved trails as your guide talks about the park's history and its many famous attractions. Your guide broadcasts his narration to group through a speaker, so you won't miss any details.

Strawberry Fields, John Lennon Memorial

See the tribute to the Beatle John Lennon at Strawberry Fields.

Shakespeare Garden

Delight in views of Belvedere Castle, smell the flowers in Shakespeare Garden, and ride by the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre where one of the last public marionette companies in the US operates.

Bethesda Fountain

Admire popular landmarks including ornate Bethesda Fountain, the ancient Egyptian obelisk known as Cleopatra's Needle, the massive green space of the Sheep Meadow, and the lovely Jackie Onassis Reservoir in the northern part of the park.

Great tour. The trip from office to and from the Park was a bit concerning for some of our inexperienced riders. tour guides Samantha and Hannah were excellent.

Our tour guide, Isaac, was GREAT! He was so informative and funny. The shop was very organized for quick check-in and check-out. The bikes were not quite up to par. My chain came loose and got tangled. Isaac was not able to fix it (he did not have a tool kit) and had to call the shop to bring another bike. We told the tour to continue on while we waited for almost 30 minutes (although part of the delay was because my phone service in the park was sketchy and the shop had a hard time contacting us for our location). They brought another bike and we eventually caught up with the group, but we missed quite a bit of the information that Isaac had about the sites. I didn't want to create a fuss about a refund, but I thought the shop should have at least offered one.

Firstly, thanks to Dan our guide for making it so enjoyable. A fun and engaging tour and he had information on everything from Central Park to the best places to eat in Little Italy, Queens or even at the airport. We had bought a 3 day NY pass for about $200. This tour alone was valued at about $50 so definitely recommend the pass too if you plan to be busy. This company also does just bike rental and other tours, all included on the pass. The tour was 2 hours. Good quality bikes and helmets provided. Started with a short walk to the park gates and then we were off for a 2 hour ride visiting all of those famous and iconoc places you have seen in so many movies. Lots off lesser known information too as well as which stars and celebrities lives where and how much some of the crazy local apartments cost. It's a total change of pace from the rest of New York and much better than just walking around. We were lucky that our group was on 11. Can get up to 15-19 and although the park is always busy with joggers and tourists, we were not in the height if the season so had no problem getting around.
