Welcome to Big Apples' short Central Park horse carriage tour! The tour starts at the corner of 59th street and 6th Avenue, following a short trip along the park on the 59th Street, the tour continues into the Central Park from 7th avenue with a nice view of the city. We stop at a point where the scenery is perfect to take pictures or just look around for a few minutes. Depending on where you look and what you see, the content of the tour changes. In NYC and central park, people around the US and the world gather in a festive atmosphere day and night, cold and warm! So, being on a horse carriage in Central Park where it is possible to have view of the city in early evening and nights is like watching a panoramic view of the NYC, and its people who come from all around the world to meet at this city that "never sleeps!" Our daughter, son-in-law and 6 year old granddaughter visited from Kauai, Hawaii. We took a trip into NYC for the holidays. We had 8 people (6 years old to 61 years old) in our group so we took 2 carriages one behind the other. From the tour guide’s narration to the snuggly red blankets on our laps to the chilly December air to the NYC skyline lit up....It was the most magical part of our entire day!

It was nice and relaxed, our driver was lovely, horse looked well looked after, we did the short loop only. Weather was good.

20 min. tour in central park. A nice little tour if you are short in time, or if you have small children. It took a little while before we found a carriage, who actually would take the tour, since it was only the little tour. They prefer the grand tours. But the driver who at last accepted the tour, was very friendly and service minded. He explained about the venues we saw on our way. The horses are in pretty god shape. The hooves are well groomed, and many horses were eating while waiting on the next ride. We stopped at the water station, so the horse could have a drink.
