I was signed up for this by someone else because they knew I loved photography but was looking forward to seeing what I could potentially get out of it. To my surprise, I got so much more than I thought, not only did I learn new techniques and tricks but got some reinforcement in areas of my shooting that I have slacked off in. I got to see one of the great sights in NY and learn a ton about photography, what else could you ask for? Oh, and Zim was great, awesome energy and a great teacher!

This is my 4th time taking classes at NYC Photo Safari (I visit the city every year) and it is truly the best part of my trip. My instructor each year has been Zim. Let me start off by saying she is an exceptional instructor- she's patient, fun, energetic, and I am always learning something new. She spends a lot of time with us and gives us tips and techniques for taking the best photographs possible. She is fantastic! Take her class!!

Dear HateMichiganWinters, Sorry to hear that you hate Michigan winters! But glad that you enjoy joining us every time you are in NYC! Our safaris are packed with information so it's not a surprise that you keep learning something new on each session. Thanks for taking the time to write a review. It's much appreciated! We'll look forward to seeing you next year on another safari! Diane NYC Photo Safari

I signed up AGAIN to work with Zim who is an excellent instructor. I took the Iconic New York session with her at Christmas but wanted to photograph Central Park in the spring. I learned even MORE about my camera and the features it has as well as composition, light and the do's and don'ts of photographing entertainers in the park. We even learned a bit of history about the park and some of the features in it. Overall, I would highly recommend time spent with Zim. You will enjoy the experience as well as learning more about photography.
