My wife and I recently took the Central Park photography tour with Zim: great time in beautiful surroundings. An entertaining experience packed with photography basics that provided real take home value for me. I was particularly impressed with Zim's student-centered focus and ability to communicate more advanced concepts in a straightforward manner that the average Joe would understand. Would definitely recommend it.

I have tried to learn photography skills from a number of sources and found Zim's approach to be most effective. She has a great combination of talents: extremely knowledgeable, listens well to what you want to learn, teaches in a way that you learn and won't forget.

My Wife and I had a great experience with Zim the tour guide. We learned about cameras as well as taking better photos. Zim would question the reason you took the type of picture she asked. Don't be greedy, when I ask you to take a shot of a bench don't fill the photo with trees. The composition of a subject tells the story of the subject.
