It is a comprehensive stroll of a little over two hours covering the history, structures, plants, animals, and movies filmed in the park, told in a way both entertaining for adults as well as children.

Our tour guide, Michael Hunt of Central Park Environs Walking Tour, was excellent - well-informed, interesting background on the park — its layout, its history, the artistic effort that went into creating it — as well as the local politics affecting the surrounding area and buildings. Mr. Hunt was on time (early, actually) and kept our group informed and entertained for 2-3 hours. I highly recommend this tour!

Michael was an incredible tour guide - committing to doing a solo tour just for me on a very cold January day. He’s a born storyteller and opened my eyes to the park in a way that I could never have truly appreciated its beauty without understanding the history behind it. He was also an incredible photographer. Can’t recommend Michael highly enough -do this if you are in New York!

Had a great time. The tour flew by. It was so comforting on our first visit to such a large place to have someone show us around. The trivia was very interesting and put things into perspective. Would highly recommend.
