Having dived with Dive Oahu several times, I'm always struck by the quality of their employees, their friendliness and, most importantly, their preparedness. The gear on the boat looked brand new and was completely dialed in before I put it on. The boat itself was clean, fast and agile--yet large and well-organized enough to accommodate a sizable group. The sites (especially the wrecks) were fantastic and offered a wide variety of sea life and literally the biggest turtles I've ever seen. You just won't find a more polished, professional dive charter on the islands than Dive Oahu. Mahalo!

It had been a while since I went diving so I did the shallow reef diver earlier in the week. Both dives with this company went great. Good equipment, wetsuits provided, and great dives sites. The day I went they did the Ewa Pinnacle and Navy Tug wreck rather than the Sea Tiger. Apparently they only do Ewa and the tug once a week when the surf is gentler. Both dives were awesome. Great underwater creatures and cool sites. If you haven’t been diving in a while I recommend doing another dive before this one. Whereas the shallow reef dive had a little closer supervision this one gave you more leeway where the dive master chilled in one spot after the initial tour of the site and we swam around exploring. The dive light was an awesome piece of equipment for these dives to see the white tip sharks and gnarly looking eels.

I wish this could be more positive as was very excited to do this dive. I haven’t dived for awhile and would not recommend this outfit for less than truly advanced divers. Most of them were nice but the overall dive master for the day was a rude and impatient fellow. Who openly ridiculed the less experienced who encountered issues with the equipment and other things. When he should have listened. I had a bad o ring on the regulator they attached to the tank.. it was leaking air. Told this guy and he scoffed and blew me off. One of the more experienced clients diving with us took a look and discovered the defective o ring and replaced it. Luckily before I went in the water. It could have been life threatening if it completely failed 80 feet down. I saw him mock other people who raised isssues. He may need a break from taking tourists on dives . But it’s not professional at all.. The guy who led my group on the actual dive was good. Was surprised he didn’t have us pair of as buddies? Is that not a thing anymore in diving? He had to keep track of 8 divers. Of varying experience levels . He did his best.
