Jonathan is incredibly informative, personable and energetic! His knowledge of the Charleston history is so extensive and he is a natural teacher! He makes history fun! He also is so very thoughtful when discussing slavery and Charlestonā€™s role. He is planning a number of other themed tours and I canā€™t wait to try them all!!! Larry,Tommy and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour! Thank you, Jonathan for an enjoyable morning and for introducing us to Bitty and Beauā€™s coffee shop. Great spot!

This was our first visit to Charleston and had limited time to enjoy our vacation . We wanted to spend our time wisely and Jon escorted us through the city , pointing out the cityā€™s unique architecture, filling us in on the regionā€™s history and familiarizing us with many of the well known as well as lesser known historical figures. His easy going charm made the trip fun and his passion for the city of Charleston inspired us to learn more about the region and set us up for a terrific visit to the city

My boyfriend and I booked a tour through Jwalk tours and it was such a memorable experience. Jonathan has a unique way of taking you back into time and his knowledge is unbelievable! We signed up to take the Chicora walk and then immediately signed up for the Badass Broads tour after. I still canā€™t decide which one I liked more. I was particularly impressed with how much ground we covered. There were so many different locations, I really feel like I got to see a little bit of everything... not to mention how beautiful the paths are. If your looking for an adventure or looking to explore history with someone who is just as passionate to teach you, book your tours here. If you take walk with Jwalk tours, you become a piece of Charleston.
