Charleston Ghost & Graveyard Tour
Meet your guide at a central meeting point, then proceed to the graveyard where you will hear about Charleston's spirits and gruesome tales such as: • The ghost of Sue Howard, a grieving mother who prays at the grave of her dead child from the spirit world. Your guide has the picture to prove it. • The Great Nullifier, famous rebel warrior John C. Calhoun. Find out why he and his wife still dance in the street every year, for over 150 years running. • Tales of being buried alive. Doctors in old Charleston didn't take chances with contagious diseases. Fall unconscious in a hospital, wake up in a grave.Learn why the terms saved by the bell and graveyard shift were coined. You will be glad you weren't around when they were. While other walking tours are looking in through the iron fence, you'll be on the inside. Learn the history of Charleston's haunted graveyards and hear tales about famous individuals who found their final resting place in the Holy City. Don't forget your flash cameras. You never know what phantom images you can capture...

90 minutes of walking for about 5 history lessons, the cemetery was my favorite part, but it was short lived. The guide was nice but this definitely didn’t feel like a ghost tour at all!

This was an average tour. Guide spent a lot of time showing us photos on his tablet meant to show spirits and having us take photos. The tour ended in a very random place far from where we started. We’ve been on spookier, more engaging tours in other cities.

My friends and I had heard great things about Bulldog’s ghost tours, and we were all quite excited to experience it!But our experience on Sunday, June 27th, was not a positive one. It started with our tour guide asking us if we were all vaccinated—no one responded. No one asked me my vaccination status in a group setting on the plantation tour, walking tour, or carriage ride, which made this very surprising and awkward. Cody’s delivery of the ghost and graveyard information on our tour was like going to bad high school theater. It was neither interesting, nor believable. No one interacted. Cody mentioned that he has a hard time connecting with groups and that many of his groups do not respond to him. He seems like a nice guy, but would be better suited for another job. I do not recommend Bulldog tours. This tour was not worth our time or our money.
