A thunderstorm with lightning with a torrential downpour started on our tour on 6/15/2021. We elected to not continue the tour, because it is generally accepted that it is not smart to be out in lightning if you can help it. Our tour guide requested that we call to let the office know. We called simply to let them know. The office reaction was to go into a rain or shine diatribe. While I understand rain or shine policy, lightning is a completely different story. I would be wary of planning when there is the possibility of such a storm as they appear to have little regard for safety. I am sure that the tour itself would have been fine, the reaction of the person on the phone tells me everything I need to know about booking with this company.

My friend and I decided to take this tour during our first time visiting Charleston and it was great! Our tour guide was Dustin and he is such an awesome storyteller! The other people in the group never showed so we got a private tour basically and it was by far my favorite ghost tour I've ever been on. I cannot recommend enough!
