Charleston Ghost & Graveyard Tour
Meet your guide at a central meeting point, then proceed to the graveyard where you will hear about Charleston's spirits and gruesome tales such as: • The ghost of Sue Howard, a grieving mother who prays at the grave of her dead child from the spirit world. Your guide has the picture to prove it. • The Great Nullifier, famous rebel warrior John C. Calhoun. Find out why he and his wife still dance in the street every year, for over 150 years running. • Tales of being buried alive. Doctors in old Charleston didn't take chances with contagious diseases. Fall unconscious in a hospital, wake up in a grave.Learn why the terms saved by the bell and graveyard shift were coined. You will be glad you weren't around when they were. While other walking tours are looking in through the iron fence, you'll be on the inside. Learn the history of Charleston's haunted graveyards and hear tales about famous individuals who found their final resting place in the Holy City. Don't forget your flash cameras. You never know what phantom images you can capture...

We've done ghost tours in a couple of pretty haunted places in the US (Gettysburg, PA and Williamsburg, VA) and this was up there with the best tours we've done! David/Dave was absolutely wonderful and an excellent storyteller. I would recommend going on this tour for some truly creepy stories and a nice evening walk around beautiful Charleston (even if it's hot). Definitely bring some cold waters and wear comfortable shoes!

what a waste of time and money. Over dramatic telling of thoroughly absurd nonsensical tales. You walk around getting sweaty and eaten by mosquitoes while hoping to hear something somehow ghostly. Just go watch an old episode of the Twilight Zone. this is just awful. Really. Oh! and they send 4 tours out at once and everyone ends up at the same place a few paces apart looking longingly at the other group to see if they are having any fun at all. HINT: they aren't

Oh no! We are so sorry! Which tour did you do? Who was your guide? It is VERY HOT this time of year for sure and the mosquitoes have been really bad too. I definitely recommend bug spray! We send many tours out at once, but the guides never go to the same locations. They purposely try to avoid each other. Were those tours perhaps with other companies? That really never happens. Again, we are really sorry that you had such a bad time. Please call us with more information. 843-722-8687

Whatever city we are visiting, we try and book a “Ghost” tour. They are usually fun and give a different insight into a city. This tour did not disappoint. Our tour guide, Dave, was a life long resident of South Carolina and told some great tales of incidents that had happened in the past in Charleston. Recommend that you do the tour after dark. About a half hour into the tour it started pouring rain, we were given the option of stopping or continuing and decided to continue and were glad that we did, even though we all got soaked! Dave’s ability to keep the group engaged and entertained was exceptional. Go into this tour with reasonable expectations and you will not be disappointed!
