The late night tour was a perfect addition to the vacation in SC. We did a little of everything and this was a fabulous tour, without it being over the top or cheesy. Dave our senior guide was a great story teller and made a crafty cocktail of both history and ghost stories that left you questioning a lot. The erie and yet charming city was extremely well depicted through his personal family accounts. Honestly, that likely improved the quality which seems hard to find. I found myself mesmerized and forgetting what time it was. Check-in was super easy, and we even purchased same-day, last minute. The other cheaper tours I'm sure are great, but they dont take you IN the graveyard (which makes it, in my opinion). Would do their other culinary or pub tours too if we had time!

Skeptics. Believers. Not sures. Doesn't matter. This tour was a great way to hear some ghost stories. Plus, it's at night when the weather is a bit cooler. We had some talkative types in our group and the guide politely handled the situation so all could hear and enjoy the experience. Except for the dungeon, the rest of the tour locations were seen only through windows and gates, which wasn't what we were expecting but the stories were compelling enough. We've gone on these types of tours in other cities where you get to walk through the graveyards and buildings and hear the stories while in the spot, not on a sidewalk.

We did a lot of research before choosing Bulldog tours. The entire process was easy from the booking to the check in. The office is beautiful, and conveniently located in Charleston. The tour guide that we had was outstanding and really sold the entire experience. He was extremely knowledgeable of the city, and offered an excellent mix of history and fable. He managed the group really well to ensure that we never felt rushed, and he was very respectful of the city. We have taken many tours in our travels, and this may have been the best. It is not a terrifying tour, but it did make you think about things because the guide was so convincing. You can't go wrong with Bulldog tours.
