Charleston Ghost & Graveyard Tour
Meet your guide at a central meeting point, then proceed to the graveyard where you will hear about Charleston's spirits and gruesome tales such as: • The ghost of Sue Howard, a grieving mother who prays at the grave of her dead child from the spirit world. Your guide has the picture to prove it. • The Great Nullifier, famous rebel warrior John C. Calhoun. Find out why he and his wife still dance in the street every year, for over 150 years running. • Tales of being buried alive. Doctors in old Charleston didn't take chances with contagious diseases. Fall unconscious in a hospital, wake up in a grave.Learn why the terms saved by the bell and graveyard shift were coined. You will be glad you weren't around when they were. While other walking tours are looking in through the iron fence, you'll be on the inside. Learn the history of Charleston's haunted graveyards and hear tales about famous individuals who found their final resting place in the Holy City. Don't forget your flash cameras. You never know what phantom images you can capture...

My husband and I went on the ghost & graveyard tour. I picked it based on the brochure saying we would get in the graveyard and not just look through the gate. We were not disappointed, we really liked being able to go in the graveyard at night. We enjoyed the ghost stories. There were more than 5 stories shared. Adam was a great guide and would definitely want to book a tour with him again. He shared some great info on Charleston we asked about since it was our first time there. He told 2 stories about a restaurant and we enjoyed lunch there the next day.

My wife and I went on this tour and to be honest. It's not worth the cost. The guide was very nice. It would be better to rename it the night time historical tour and add a bit more than the 3 stories this guide talked about.

We are very sorry to hear this. Which tour did you do? We are glad the guide was nice. We do tell history on our tours. I'm sorry if your tour was heavier on history, rather than ghost stories. Please contact us so that we can find out more about your tour. Thank you. 843-722-8687

We were very excited about our tour. We were traveling with our children, ages 12 and 14, and we all love ghost tours. We have done ghost tours in Franklin, TN, Savannah, GA, and Colonial Williamsburg. Everyone encouraged us to do one in Charleston, so we chose a highly rated company and signed up for the 9:30 Ghosts and Graveyards tour, hoping for the spookiest age appropriate experience we could get. Unfortunately, our guide was lackluster. We could tell she loves ghost stories, but she wasn't able to hold our group's attention and kept commenting on how quiet everyone was. It may have been an off night, but unfortunately we would not recommend this tour.
