Charleston Ghost & Graveyard Tour
Meet your guide at a central meeting point, then proceed to the graveyard where you will hear about Charleston's spirits and gruesome tales such as: • The ghost of Sue Howard, a grieving mother who prays at the grave of her dead child from the spirit world. Your guide has the picture to prove it. • The Great Nullifier, famous rebel warrior John C. Calhoun. Find out why he and his wife still dance in the street every year, for over 150 years running. • Tales of being buried alive. Doctors in old Charleston didn't take chances with contagious diseases. Fall unconscious in a hospital, wake up in a grave.Learn why the terms saved by the bell and graveyard shift were coined. You will be glad you weren't around when they were. While other walking tours are looking in through the iron fence, you'll be on the inside. Learn the history of Charleston's haunted graveyards and hear tales about famous individuals who found their final resting place in the Holy City. Don't forget your flash cameras. You never know what phantom images you can capture...

While attending business meetings in Charleston, we decided to catch this tour last minute. We are so glad we did! Our guide, Noah G, was fantastic and engaging. We appreciated his fine storytelling and wit. Enjoyed the evening immensely!

This review is more about the guide than anything. We've been on many ghost tours around the country and overseas. This was among the very worst we've ever been on. The tour went WAY over time, and was definitely not worth half the time it took. The guide spent more time working up to telling the various stories than actually telling what happened. Never once, in two hours, did I have a sense that any of what he said had actually happened. In fact, as we walked around the area there were numerous ghost tours under way, and more than once, hearing the other guides tell their tales, we were tempted to lose our tour and join theirs.

We are very sorry to hear you were disappointed in your tour guide. It came much to a surprise to us to hear because he normally gets amazing reviews. There is a another review from the tour you were posted to TripAdvisor shortly after yours. When it comes to any tour, there are most twenty guests and one tour guide. One rare occasions, the personality of the guide does not always mesh with the personality of all twenty guests. With a different guide, we believe it would have resulted differently. Since you were disappointed in the tour, we are more than happy to offer a refund. Please feel free to reach out to our Tour Guide Manager, Andrew Kuhn, at [email protected] to discuss further. We do hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Charleston!
