Boo!!! We were anticipating a thoughtful and researched backed tour, sharing some “less than desirable” aspects of Charleston’s historical. Instead, we were shown what are clearly doctored photos, told stories that are not backed by any rigorous historical nor scientific research documentation all while learning nothing of actual cultural or historical relevance. Waste of time!!!

The ghost story of Susan Howard Hardy, also having to compete for space with other tour groups. The stories were good, and Ben did a great job and kept us engaged! However, so many other ghost tour groups and carriage groups were out at the same time, that it was literally a traffic jam in the graveyards and streets. I know that is out of the control of the company, but it is distracting when trying to listen and focus.

We are a group of 5 friends from NY/ NJ visiting Charleston for the Christmas break. We loved the city. The historical ghost tour we signed up for was both entertaining and historically informative. Ben was very well informed, passionate and an exceptional story teller. He was also very attentive to protect us from the rain. Thanks Ben!!
