Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon
Stop by The Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon, one of the most haunted buildings in Charleston. Since the late 1600s, the Exchange and Dungeon have existed in one form or another. Once a walled prison, it has been a haven for those seeking freedom as well as a dark and gruesome spot for prisoners caught on the wrong side of authority.

Peggy did a great job from start to finish. She kept us safe and entertained throughout the tour. She relayed interesting stories and said she couldn't promise we would see, feel, or hear anything but she did encourage us to use our cameras as things could show up on the images that we may not see directly. We did capture 2 images, one orb in a still shot from an alley and a rapidly moving orb in a video clip from a cemetery. Great tour guide, great stories, and interesting evidence.

We loved the tour. Our tour guide (Will) was engaging and very well informed, with a clear passion for his work. He was a natural storyteller and made every tale a compelling one. The tour started at 10 pm, which if you're not a night owl, was a little late, but understandable due to the nature of the activity. We definitely recommend Ghost City's Death and Depravity Tour and Will as a guide.

My 12 year old son and I really enjoyed the Ghosts of Liberty tour. Will, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was fun and appropriate for all ages (though my 8 year old daughter was too scared to try the tour). Loved the emphasis on the history of the city and the locations we saw. The walk was easy and the whole experience was great. Thumbs up!
