Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon

Stop by The Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon, one of the most haunted buildings in Charleston. Since the late 1600s, the Exchange and Dungeon have existed in one form or another. Once a walled prison, it has been a haven for those seeking freedom as well as a dark and gruesome spot for prisoners caught on the wrong side of authority.

Michael was awesome! Super into what he does - therefore the stories and legends come to life when he tells them. I took my mom and she loved it as much as I did!

Guide was knowledgeable but I’m pretty sure only told 4 ghost stories in an hour and a half. Was a nice way to see the city by a local but if you’re expecting to go in to any cemetery or hear something remotely spooky look elsewhere.
