Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon

Stop by The Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon, one of the most haunted buildings in Charleston. Since the late 1600s, the Exchange and Dungeon have existed in one form or another. Once a walled prison, it has been a haven for those seeking freedom as well as a dark and gruesome spot for prisoners caught on the wrong side of authority.

We originally tried to do another tour but it was sold out so we happened upon this one online and we're so happy that we did. Will was a great tour guide. He really knew his history and did a great job incorporating it with the ghost stories. The tour is a good way to see part of the city at night and learn about some of the history of the city in a fun and different way. Definitely an interesting way to spend Halloween! ~Rosie the Riveter

My girlfriends and I are in town for a nursing conference and decided we wanted to try a ghost tour! Not only did Will know his history, he had some awesome passed down ghost stories! I thought the stories were interesting and creepy but also friendly enough for my scaredy cat friends! We had a lot of fun and enjoyed site seeing! -Little Red Riding Hood
