Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon

Stop by The Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon, one of the most haunted buildings in Charleston. Since the late 1600s, the Exchange and Dungeon have existed in one form or another. Once a walled prison, it has been a haven for those seeking freedom as well as a dark and gruesome spot for prisoners caught on the wrong side of authority.

Will gave a very informative and interesting tour. It's not every day you see someone at his age able to know history like he does! Great personality and a way with telling these true and haunting stories! I highly recommend him.

Lance was amazing, very energetic and knowledgable about the city's history. It would have been cool to go through cemeteries or graveyards (we now know the difference between the two, thanks, Lance!) but understand there might be some restrictions for this. Absolutely loved the tour and finding out fun facts about Charleston's rich history. I give this tour 5 stars, highly recommend it!!

This is was a Fun & interesting tour to learn about the ghosts of Charleston. Lance made the tour funny, but gave us some great stories mixed in with historical facts about the city. We really enjoyed walking around and learning about the dark things of Charleston's Past. A tour for ADULTS!
