We’ve taken a cruise on the Pride on other visits as well. This time we did the afternoon cruise and it was wonderful. The crew were knowledgeable and friendly but not intrusive. We took the water taxi across, sailed on the Pride and then took the water taxi back to Mount Pleasant! It was a very enjoyable afternoon. The sunset cruise is also great. We have some spectacular photos from that cruise in the past. We were hoping to take the moonlight cruise since our visit was over the full moon. Sadly they have dropped it even thought it continues to be listed.

Of all the excursions, tours, activities I planned ahead of time (based on reviews), Charleston Harbor Tours is THE one I would pass on to fellow travelers, friends and family, as the “must do “ even if you’re here for just two days. The tours pretty much all view the same things so the value is found in physical comfort and entertainment while on the boat. This captain/narrator was a Pro- engaging and informative, seemingly unscripted but comprehensive with regard to sharing the history itself. My husband and I had taken a walking tour earlier in the day and we ambled away after 20 minutes -a bit bored and we felt, as a captive audience we’d made a mistake - the leader didn’t read the audience. The boat narrator’s personality and style would be appropriate for any age- my only suggestions are : where are wide brimmed hat, apply sunscreen, bring cash for a tip and credit card for drinks
