Took my 9 yr old daughter on a harbor cruise while in town while husband was in class. Both our first time sightseeing in Charleston. Staff were very friendly. Enjoyed the Captain's narration & jokes. Snack bar was reasonable & nice to have as we intentionally skipped breakfast in case of sea sickness. No problems as sailing was smooth! Did not visit the bottom level as it was warm enough to sit up top. A def must see, especially if you are unable to see all the sites (Yorktown, Sumter, etc) one by one.

Although the weather was cold, our day on the harbor was fun and exciting! We were able to see quite a bit from the boat and the commentary was helpful. Overall, the tour was good, but the boat was just ok, lacking in some concessions and drink amenities I have experienced on other similar type tours in other cities.

Definitely worth it. We went in November 2019 when there was lots of construction and it was hard to find a parking spot near the pier. But it is worth the effort. The crew was nice and the narration of sights in Charleston Harbor was interesting. The highlight was going under the bridge, and this offered opportunities for great photos of the bridge. If you are a photographer, you will see lots of unusual angles for photos. The cruise goes close to Patriots Point, so this is a good opportunity to see the Yorktown CV-10 Carrier (not the same Yorktown of the Battle of Midway since that CV-5 Carrier was lot in the battle). Also cruise by Fort Sumter and Morris Island where the 54th Mass regimement fought that last battle on Morris Island shown in the movie "Glory" on Morris Island (which is on the southeren approach to Charleston Harbor).
