The wind was blowing 30+ MPH and it was white capping in the Harbor. We chose to not go on the tour because the wind was blowing so hard that we didn’t think they would leave the dock. No refund nor no email letting us know one way or the other. Nothing against the harbor tour I think it’s more of a miscommunication by trip advisor.

Thank you for your review. We always communicate with guests if a tour has to be cancelled via phone and/or email. The harbor tour was not cancelled, nor was it unsafe to operate on the day in question. We do keep a close eye on weather from multiple sources and have many, many years of experience on Charleston Harbor. If we have to cancel for weather, we offer guests an opportunity to reschedule or receive a refund with no penalty. In this case, the tour was not canceled and went out without issue.

Excellent way to spend 90 minutes while visiting Charleston, SC. Narrated by Captain Andy. What a card! Great drinks off the bow. Excellent music. Try it. You so t be disappointed. I fortunately had a hat and gloves for the upper deck. The lower deck is enclosed for those who choose to be inside. Lots of chairs.
