Fabulous cruise. Great music! Great views! Good way to see some of the cities landmarks from the water. Really enjoyed it!

Took the daytime harbor cruise with my husband. We typically take a similar cruise in every town we visit. I think it’s a Great way to be on the water while getting a sense of history and culture of the area. Having been on around 15 or so similar cruises I have to say this was not my favorite. Mainly because of the seating. The boat (princess) was set up more for dining than for a sightseeing cruise. There were square tables with 4 aluminum chairs scattered in the top deck. Not enough seats for all of the passengers. It was hot, and there was no shade on the upper deck or air conditioning or fans on the lower decks. Depending on the direction the boat was traveling, there was also no breeze. As for the sights to see, they were definitely in the distance. You can only get close to fort Sumter. The captain was narrating the tour and driving the boat. I’ve never seen that before. I’m sure the captain is a capable and skilled seaman, but ideally, he’d be fully focused on sailing. It’s was ok for the money but I wouldn’t do it again.

A nice way to get out in the water … main leaves seating was ok … some benches along the edge and lightweight chairs sitting around in the middle … there’s a bar where you can get snacks … the big thing to me was that none of us could really hear the commentary … so it was really just a 1.5 hour cruise around the harbor …
