We took the Eco Marsh Boat Cruise with Captain Ryan. This was an outstanding trip. On the way out to Morris Island, we saw two dolphins (I think)--since we saw dolphins leaping out of the water nine or ten times, I am not totally sure how many dolphins we saw. We took about an hour to cruise out to Morris Island, sometimes at speed, but other times slowing for the dolphins or to look at pelicans and other birds. Out at Morris Island, some of the people on the trip found quite large whelk shells (like conch shells, but with the opposite handedness). I especially enjoyed being able to see the waves of the Atlantic crashing on the shore at Folly Beach, just beyond our range. Ryan was very knowledgeable, which added to the trip. On the way back, as the tide had ebbed a bit, we were able to see oyster beds sticking up above the water line--not visible on the way out. We heard that at low tide, the trip goes to a part of Morris Island where you can collect shark's teeth. We hope to return to take that trip.

informative and paced very well. Captain Josh was knowledgeable and friendly. Most importantly he had smooth control of the boat, the route, every aspect of the tour.
