This was a phenomenal tour packed with education and fun. Tripp was our Captain and he is both kind and extraordinarily knowledgeable about the Charleston waters and animals. He held our attention throughout with easy to understand conversation about the waterway and was amazing at helping us spot dolphins. We saw entire pods, including a mama and her baby swim right by our boat! We also saw a number of other animals and fowl that Tripp said are rare to see. It is fascinating that he can both captain the boat and be on the lookout for so many rare animals and fowl at the same time. This was easily the best tour in Charleston that we have been on. We hope to be back and take their 5 hour fossil tour.

The Morris Island Lighthouse Eco boat tour was a great experience! Don’t think twice. Book a trip. You won’t be disappointed. Ask for Captain Joey. He was very knowledgeable about the area and took the time to spot out the dolphins along the way and even hang around a little longer to watch them play. You will enjoy spending time on Morris Island. Bring a bag as they have some of the largest and most beautiful shells. They are endless on the shore and you will want to bring some home. Lighthouse is something beautiful to see from the shore as well. Will certainly do again!
