It was lots of fun to actually go out to Morris Island! We've seen it from the end of Folly, but it was nice to get out there. Captain Dallas was really fun, and quite knowledgeable about the local birds. We saw several dolphins, which is always fun, as well as a beautiful sunset on our way back in. We would definitely do another trip when we come back to Folly Beach - maybe the shark tooth expedition next time!

Capt. Joey found plenty of dolphin (including Flattop the tribe alpha-female) but provided so much more. It was obvious that Capt. Joey was not reciting a script but was a truly passionate advocate of all the creatures of this remarkably beautiful ecosystem. During a beautiful winding trip through the tidal channels of marsh grass we saw dolphins feeding as the tide went out to sea with the magnificent Morris Island lighthouse only a few hundred yards away. My wife and I walked away with a deeper respect and awe for Nature and its awesome beauty. Do yourself a favor and stop at Bowen's Island Restaurant when you return to the dock. It will be the perfect ending to a perfect day. Enjoy !!! Bruce White and Amy Casil

This was our favorite thing we did in Charleston! The boat ride was so peaceful (and I am afraid of the water). We saw pelicans and a pod of dolphins followed by a beautiful view of the lighthouse. I even found a beautiful whelk shell (looks like a small conch) among many nice shells!
