Great Experience! We went on our tour with Josh. Immediately we saw dolphins. We then cruised through the waterway and enjoyed the beauty of the area. We got off at the lighthouse and found dozens of beautiful shells. We also were told about the ecosystem and how many species contribute to it. Would do this tour again.

If Hollywood Casting is looking for someone to play the role of “Salt Marsh Guide”, they need look no further than Captain Josh. He has the knowledge of the eco-system and where to find the dolphins (“anybody that sees one before me gets a free tour”- nobody did), and you can tell on sight it’s not his first rodeo. The shells are amazing on Miller Island, and Captain Josh explained the lighthouse history before sending us on our own to explore. Other reviews suggest some of the captains join you on the island, so you might ask about that. The boats are covered, and have a very low draft to allow access to the water that is at some points no deeper than 3 or 4 feet, but offer no protection from the wind.
