Charleston's Hidden Alleyways & Historic Sites Small-Group Walking Tour

Overview
Explore some of Charleston's enchanting alleyways and historic sites on this small group, 2-hour walking tour. With our small group tours, you are guaranteed a more intimate and up-close experience. Charleston's alleyways are fortunately located within the popular historic district which allows us to include some well known points of interest and go a little "off the beaten path” while exploring the history and beauty of Charleston's enchanting alleyways. Generally, we include between four to six different alleyways/passages as well as popular points of interest like Rainbow Row and of course, tons of history! These pedestrian passageways are often overlooked, but walking along these cobbled paths is an opportunity to appreciate Charleston's rich history and hidden, more intimate charms.

We learned a lot about the history, architecture of Charleston. Saw streets and alleyways that we would have not explored. Really enjoyed it.

My wife and I took this tour to get some history and to see interesting parts of the city. The two hours went by fairly quickly and even though it is a lot of walking it didn’t feel like a constant marathon since our guide frequently stopped to give interesting bits of info and history as we moved. It was great learning some history of the area but even better hearing the little bits of info about the history we had never thought about. Facts about the architecture of the buildings and the meanings for certain parts of it was a favorite of ours. We have not taken any other tours in Charleston but this is one you will enjoy for some sightseeing and history mixed together.
