Charleston's Hidden Alleyways & Historic Sites Small-Group Walking Tour

Overview
Explore some of Charleston's enchanting alleyways and historic sites on this small group, 2-hour walking tour. With our small group tours, you are guaranteed a more intimate and up-close experience. Charleston's alleyways are fortunately located within the popular historic district which allows us to include some well known points of interest and go a little "off the beaten path” while exploring the history and beauty of Charleston's enchanting alleyways. Generally, we include between four to six different alleyways/passages as well as popular points of interest like Rainbow Row and of course, tons of history! These pedestrian passageways are often overlooked, but walking along these cobbled paths is an opportunity to appreciate Charleston's rich history and hidden, more intimate charms.

We loved this tour so much! Mark was an excellent guide, you could really tell how much he loves the city. During the 2 hours, we were taken to different historical spots around the city by means of ‘hidden passages’ (or side streets that were less traveled). It was very informative and a good way to learn some cool history!

Mark, our tour guide, was amazing! We loved all of the history and all of the extra information about the area he provided. We could definitely tell he loves where he lives and loves to share it with others. Highly recommend!!

The tour guide was nice but the listing is a little miss leading. We were under the assumption with pictures and descriptions we would be finding and seeing some “hidden passages”. Also put your guide was nice but we got some history and his life from Charleston. We learned where he lived and about a bachelorette group he took to the blind tiger the tour from the night before. Also when the listing says mask might be required for indoors we thought we would be going into our meeting spot and we didn’t. Just a little disappointed. A lot of places we walked around we had already seen the day before just walking alone. And some are armed for you to find on apple map.
