Charleston's Hidden Alleyways & Historic Sites Small-Group Walking Tour

Overview
Explore some of Charleston's enchanting alleyways and historic sites on this small group, 2-hour walking tour. With our small group tours, you are guaranteed a more intimate and up-close experience. Charleston's alleyways are fortunately located within the popular historic district which allows us to include some well known points of interest and go a little "off the beaten path” while exploring the history and beauty of Charleston's enchanting alleyways. Generally, we include between four to six different alleyways/passages as well as popular points of interest like Rainbow Row and of course, tons of history! These pedestrian passageways are often overlooked, but walking along these cobbled paths is an opportunity to appreciate Charleston's rich history and hidden, more intimate charms.

Excellent tour! Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He seemed to personally know several local business owners and residents and was able to give us a unique perspective into the history and life of Charleston. From the title, I was expecting a few more secret-tunnel type experiences. But still, we explored all of the most beautiful and interesting alleyways through the city, and gleamed lots of interesting cultural and historical facts along the way. 9/10 would recommend!

Captain Jim was an excellent tour guide! He led an upbeat and informative tour that we learned so much from! He really went above and beyond, bringing bug spray for us and sharing his phone number for any needs or questions we might have throughout our stay. HIGHLY recommend a tour of any kind with him! We hope to book a boat tour with him on our next visit!
