Charleston's alleyways are fortunately located within the popular historic district which allows us to include some well known points of interest and go a little "off the beaten path” while exploring the history and beauty of Charleston's enchanting alleyways. Generally, we include between four to six different alleyways/passages as well as popular points of interest like Rainbow Row and of course, tons of history! These pedestrian passageways are often overlooked, but walking along these cobbled paths is an opportunity to appreciate Charleston's rich history and hidden, more intimate charms.

My wife and I have been on other Walking Tours of Charleston before but this Hidden Alleyways was a different experience and informative in many different ways. Steve, a native of Charleston, with a long family history in the city, was a perfect Guide. Not only was he informative, (most guides are, that's their job) but he was passionate about the City he calls home and loves. It was great to see so many of the locals walk by and say hi to him, just made you feel he is a big part of Charleston. We like the Small Group aspect as it really gives the tour a more intimate feel. The pace was great, not hurried or rushed. Plenty of time to ask questions. I, as a Photographer got to see quite a few "Photo Opps" I would have missed on my own. I highly recommend this tour!
