My 16 year old neice and I took the 9:30 ghost tour this week, and upon meeting our guide it seemed like this was going to be very fun...since this was her first ghost tour in Charleston. After talking to him and waiting for the rest of our group to arrive, I noticed that our guide was starring at my niece's chest! I over looked it at first but then as the tour went on I noticed that he continued to look at her chest...and so did the rest of the group! My niece continued to pull her shirt up, which was not revealing at all, and pull her hair to the front hoping he would stop....but until the very end he continued to look at her chest! By the time the tour was over both she and I were very uncomfortable! What was supposed to be a fun night turn into a situation that made my niece uneasy! So if your looking for CREEPY tours this one will do it!

I cannot dispute this review in stronger terms. We did not on this occasion nor on any other harass a female customer in this fashion. In over 15 years of giving tours we have never received a complaint of this nature. No complaint was made to us either on the night this tour occurred or at any time since. It should be noted that in over fifty reviews no other customer has made any such accusation or mentioned being in any way uncomfortable with either myself or Denny. It is also impossible to disprove this type of accusation. I can only ask that readers consider this review in the context of the many others that are listed here. Mike Brown

A very informative and entertaining way to see the city. We took the Ghost Tour at night and the Civil War tour the following day and were very happy to have the same guide for both tours, Denny Stiles. He was very knowledgable about the city and it's incredible history. His flair for telling the rich history will have you hanging on every word. I highly recommend taking one of "Old Charleston Walking Tours" to everyone.
