Departing from the Charleston Visitor Center in the late morning through mid-afternoon, this sightseeing tour includes a fully-guided, live-narrated trip throughout the city. This area of Charleston is a beautiful spot on the waterfront and will showcase incredible southern-style mansions, oak trees, palmettos, statues, cannons and cannon balls, and marvelous views of Fort Sumter, Castle Pinckney, and the Sullivan Island Lighthouse at a distance.

It was alright. The AC didn’t work very well, everyone’s hair was sticking to them. It was distracting. Made it hard to enjoy the tour. The guide was informative, it was very hot on the bus. A lot of us were disappointed.

We are sorry to hear that the climate control that day negatively impacted your tour experience with us. We did end up sending that vehicle in for some AC repairs that day. We got the same report from our tour guide that we had a maintenance need for the AC, so we sent it in right away. It is back to cooling as it should, we do apologize for your less than ideal experience!

Shawn was very knowledgeable about Charleston and gave us as much information as he possibly could throughout the tour. You can tell he is very passionate about the history. He talks excitedly and enthusiastically even though he’s been giving tours for 33 years! He also has some pretty good jokes! Highly recommend this tour and I would book this same tour again on the next visit to Charleston! Ask for Shawn with Adventure Sightseeing!
