BT Marking was our guide and he did an excellent job! He gets a 5 star rating!! He was able to share so much of Charleston’s history with us in an entertaining way. Riding through the Citadel was very informative as he is a graduate from there. The only down side of the tour was that the air on the bus wasn’t working correctly so it wasn’t as cool as we had hoped. The company should have swapped out the vehicles before our tour started because it was a very hot day in Charleston. For that decision, they get a 2/3 rating.

I took my 80 year old parents and their best friends on this bus tour. They did not want a horse and buggy ride because of the heat. We will NEVER use this company again. It just happened to be 100 degrees that day. Beverages are not allowed on the bus so we didn't bring them. The Air conditioning unit on the bus did not work! They should have cancelled the trip or got another bus. They had little fans circulating attached in the bus. I'm unsure if the AC ever worked. We were drenched with sweat by the time we finished the tour. So the bus seats couldn't have been very clean. It was so hot we couldn't concentrate on the driver and he sounded pretty good. No one got off on the stop to the market because we just wanted the misery to end. I called and left a message with the manager. Of course, no response or call back. I would suggest going to another company. The horse and buggy ride would have been cooler because at least we would have had a breeze and could open the window.

As first time visitors to this beautiful city, we were hoping for a great guided tour, and Adventure sightseeing didn’t disappoint! We left the station and our guide, RT, was FANTASTIC! His knowledge of the city’s history was amazing and he kept us begging for more. As a graduate of the Citadel, RT gave us “extra” insider scoop, while we toured the grounds. This tour provided us first timers with a great introduction to Charleston, as well as a welcome reprieve from the heat. The air conditioned bus was a nice way to cool off and enjoy the company of others, while learning about the city. Adventure Sightseeing Tours are a must!
