Pat was our driver and very funny and knowledgeable. However, it was hard to take pictures out of the bus and you only stop once to get out. If weather and your abilities allow I would suggest doing a walking tour instead. I wasn’t quite satisfied with the bus tour since I couldn’t get any pictures or really stop to appreciate the architecture so I booked a walking tour last minute for the next day, which I enjoyed a lot more. Again this isn’t a bad tour by any means but a walking tour will give you a lot more bang for your buck and photo opportunities.

His breadth and depth of knowledge was incredible and he presented it wonderfully. The fact that they use 12 passenger vans with a quality audio system made for a great experience for everyone on board. Would highly recommend this company and, if you are lucky, you will get Bill.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the city of Charleston and made our trip interesting and informative. Unfortunately it rained our entire trip but it did not impact the tour quality. The only disappointment we experienced was having the trip end at the Market Place and not where it started at the visitor center. (Odd). Other than that I would rate the trip a 4-star value. I would definitely refer others to Adventure Sightseeing.
