Charleston Stand-Up Paddleboard Eco Tour

Overview

This 2-hour introductory paddle on the Edge of America will get you into the basics of SUP, all in the calm flatwater of the Folly River. All safaris begin with "ground school" or SUP instructions with your Lifeguard Certified Instructors. We'll explore alongside the numerous beautiful native birds and bottlenose dolphins. We'll go with the flow, following the tides and wind direction for a great beginning paddle. At low tide we visit a private beach and go for a swim!

Very accommodating, friendly and fun ! The guides, Eric and Rebecca were awesome . Eric was very knowledgeable and his information about the eco system was interesting ! These guides did a great job in making sure we were equipped with basic SUP skills and checked our form and safety throughout the trip. I was very impressed with this company. Please book with them . There were 10 of us. Age 15-50. Super easy staff to work with. We booked the 2 hour SUP morning tour. Answered all of our questions on the phone and super accommodating in person. John and Eric are outstanding! They took the time to explain all the details of SUP. On the water, they gave further instructions. Anything we forgot, they had available for purchase. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend them and go back ourselves!!

We went for a two-hour SUP tour. Our guide, Devin, was excellent. He gave us a good base lesson before we got into the water so we felt confident and had no issues maneuvering the boards in the water. The water was smooth so we never had to do any strenuous paddling. Devin taught my son and husband tricks to do on the paddle board and even did a headstand on his paddle board. We saw lots of dolphins and several were very close to us. We would definitely go on this trip again!
