Charleston Stand-Up Paddleboard Eco Tour

Overview
This 2-hour introductory paddle on the Edge of America will get you into the basics of SUP, all in the calm flatwater of the Folly River. All safaris begin with "ground school" or SUP instructions with your Lifeguard Certified Instructors. We'll explore alongside the numerous beautiful native birds and bottlenose dolphins. We'll go with the flow, following the tides and wind direction for a great beginning paddle. At low tide we visit a private beach and go for a swim!

Group photo is taken at the end of the tour, which will be posted on our social media pages.

This was a time! My girlfriends and I scheduled a morning dolphin safari with Charleston SUP Safaris just to have some active experiences on our girls trip. So glad we did! We loved it! (Granted, we did get lucky with beautiful weather, too.) The staff are very friendly, and our guide, Doug, was so fun! We paddled 2 miles up and down Folly River. The scenery was beautiful and we got to see two dolphins! I would do this again!

Aloha Jenn, Thanks for the great review and Doug really appreciates the positive feedback on the water. We're lucky to have the Folly River in our backyard and the dolphins always make us smile!

We enjoyed learning about the low country ecosystem, the "local" dolphins and their feeding habits, and numerous birds. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and a great teacher. I strongly recommend this outdoor learning adventure for your entire family! Remember it is all about the FUN FACTOR!!

From the moment we arrived at SUP we were greeted and felt welcomed! As first timers we were not sure if we would even be able to paddle board. With the help from our awesome guide Big Jon and his sidekick Doug we had a blast. We all managed to be able to stand up at one point or another and even got to see some sharks! It was a great experience for me to take my two children on. Thank you all for the memories!

Aloha Marissa, We had a blast with your family and yes spotting some bonnet head sharks was a unique opportunity because we always see dolphins. We look forward to sharing more memories the next time you visit Folly!
