I really enjoyed this cruise. Be aware that this cruise doesn't offer narration about Charleston, so if you're looking for an educational experience, this isn't it. There's a four-piece blues band that plays for about 90 minutes of the 2-hour trip. There's also an all-you-can eat buffet with pulled pork, chicken quarters (leg and thigh), coleslaw, macaroni & cheese, and chocolate chip cookies. The food was catered by Swig and Swine, a local restaurant.
You're not allowed to bring liquor aboard, so you'll have to buy it from the bar. The beer is pretty expensive: $6.50 for a can of specialty beer and $5.50 for a can of local stuff.
There are three decks with plenty of seating. Getting around is easy, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who has a problem with stairs.
The ship takes several circuits around the harbor, so you'll get a chance to see everything multiple times. The trip takes place at sunset, so if beautiful sunsets appeal to you, you're in luck.
