Operation City Quest is a digital scavenger hunt played using an app on your phone. The game is played all outdoors in public spaces, and you are not required to come into contact with anyone except your own team. Makes for the perfect social distancing activity!

Fun with a big group to be silly and run around but there was no structure or info re the sites. Don’t expect to learn much about charlotte, it’s history, or its points of interest (except from the historical markers and plaques you happen upon), and don’t expect any kind of map or route. It’s just a scavenger hunt for mostly generic city items (eg. a billboard, an atm, a fountain, police station, fire house); but the clues are cute and the interactive, pictorial challenges are fun.
