We had such a great time on our tour! Chef John was such a delightful character! Knew everyone and they all knew him. Great food sampling. Best advise - do not eat either breakfast or lunch! There is enough food to fill you up!

Chef Sean Welsh was so AMAZING!!! We have frequented Seattle but still learned a lot about Pike Place Market and Seattle’s history in general through Chef Sean. The food tasting was fantastic and we felt like we tasted more than any food tasting tours running alongside our ttour. Chef Sean’s very genuine, authentic and humorous approach to going about the tour was a breath of fresh air. We really took in what the merchants were all about and of course sampled very delicious foods along the way. But my greatest take away from this tour is learning about how merchants at Pike Place or maybe Seattle in general, took care of their people. Chef Sean seems to know everyone and even in other tours, it’s like everyone knows everyone. People of Seattle genuinely care for each other. The sense of community is so evident. Chef Sean explained to us that we (tourists) are only 3rd in importance for a very good reason. People at Pike Place took care of each other first. They made sure that their welfare are looked after which in turn allow them to concentrate on their jobs and provide great service to tourists like us. Such a simple premise but goes a long way. I most certainly will go on this tour again with friends and do Chef Eric’s tour as well as suggested by Chef Sean. Our hearts were filled with joy as much as our stomachs were filled with sumptuous foods. Thank you so much for having Chef Sean Welsh. We look forward to watching his show. Hope the link to it gets posted on the Eat Seattle website.
