This chef-guided food tour takes a journey through Pacific Northwest culture by tasting Seattle’s best artisan vendors in the famous Pike Place Market. Enjoy diverse tastings at 9 different locations— and food options like chocolate covered cherries, chowder, pizza, and much more. All groups are kept to 10-11 guests to ensure easier navigation of the market, more tastings, and a better platform to ask questions and interact with the group. Leave with a 10% discount card to shop and explore after the tour.

This is a walking tour that does require a moderate amount of physical fitness due to distance, small hills, stairs and cobblestone terrain.

Meeting Location: is 1600 First Ave outside of Simply Seattle. We meet on the street. Chef will be wearing a black chef coat

Please arrive 10 minutes early. Once the tour leaves the starting point we cannot catch you up as it is a moving tour and guides choose their own routes.

Our tour guide, Chef John, was great! He was personable, funny, and so knowledgeable of the historic marketplace! Love how he ruled the place and how everyone seemed to know him! It was like we were personal guests at “his house”! Highly recommended!

Great tour with lots of tastings. Guide was full of energy, history and stories. Made our visit to the market more interesting.

Tasting the food and the history behind the market. Pizza 🍕 stop was great. Clam chowder remarkable. Filipino bites, unfortunately I’ve tasted better. But their mango drink was perfectly smooth and no too sweet. Smoked salmon was exquisite. Soft chewy but all the flavors come through. Chocolate balls on the bridge were delightfully. Least favorite was truffle store. But if that’s your thing go for it. BBQ was unremarkable. Taco 🌮 were the best you’ll taste. The cinnamon tea was truly something we all loved. Ended the tour with delicious chocolate. We had good bathroom break times and walked and explored at a good pace. Wish we were given a list of the places we went to so we could revisit for a meal.
